I spent a wonderful afternoon photographing Kenyon's Christening and African Naming Ceremony. Denise and Doug and their family and friends came together for a warm and welcoming ceremony. It was my first African Naming Ceremony and I had such an amazing time. It was so beautiful. I loved how the entire community of friends and family comes together to support the child.
Denise perfomed a beautiful song, We Need the Children, and I've used in the slideshow. I absolutely loved watching her perform.
